I'm back! (again)

Well,  hello there - It has been awhile since my last blog - three, rather quick years ago to be exact!  Where, oh, where does the time go?

So, what have I been up to - well, let’s see, I’ve been a busy girl with some fabulous interior design projects, some big, some small, with them all being delightfully unique. To list a few there has been a fireplace reno in a cozy family room, a lovely tranquil kitchen remodel to go with an even lovelier living room remodel and, for good measure, a couple of full blown rags-to-riches splendor of knocking-down walls and rebuilding from scratch!  And, lucky for me, all on and around the lovely beach communities of sunny So Cal, with, again, lucky me, a few fun, cool east coast projects tucked in along the way.

There’s also been lots of charmingly, wonderful occasions in need of my baking skills to create countless sweet, sweet treats for birthdays, weddings and those precious little moments always worth celebrating! My Motto - always celebrate, and always celebrate with cake!

Time has also been spent on my love of collecting, amassing and acquiring treasure! ( and in my husbands words - “honey, whats the plan for all your ‘NEW’ things?” said with a hint of a quiver to his upper lip ) - As some of you may know, I love the quest of hunting down unique, vintage and clever one-of-kind goodies - its no-doubt ‘The inner Wanna-be archeologist/treasure hunter/gatherer’ in me, however, as thrilling as it may be, I do believe there should be a history in a persons space and surroundings, whether it be a piece of curated art, a vintage lamp or your grandmothers chair - a layered multi-decade look/feel is what gives a room a great sense style! 

And, last but certainly not least - theres traveling ( sadly, not so much lately ) But, yes, its truly my favorite way to recharge and find inspiration. Were talking anything from adventuring in the great outdoors to sneaking into hotel lobbies, office building lobbies and/or simply just savoring the flavors, colors, art and design of different lands and cultures - travel is truly like a delicious slice of cake for the soul!
